Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sushi rice Cook according to package instructions.
  • 4 sheets Nori sheets
  • 1 cup Cooked fish (like crab or shrimp)
  • 1 cup Vegetables (like cucumber and avocado) Sliced.

Batter and Coating

  • 1 large Egg Beaten.
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs

For Frying

  • 2 cups Oil For frying.

For Serving

  • to taste Soy sauce For dipping.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
  • Place a nori sheet on a bamboo mat and spread a thin layer of sushi rice over it.
  • Add slices of cooked fish and vegetables onto the rice.
  • Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat.
  • Slice the roll into bite-sized pieces.

Battering and Frying

  • In a bowl, beat an egg and mix with flour to create a batter.
  • Dip each sushi piece into the batter, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the sushi pieces until golden brown on all sides.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve with soy sauce.

Notes

Fried sushi is best served warm with a side of soy sauce for dipping. You can also add pickled ginger or wasabi for extra flavor. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat in an oven to keep them crispy.
