Ingredients
  

For the sliders

  • 12 pieces Slider buns Soft slider buns for the base
  • 2 cups Roast beef Thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Caramelized onions Can be prepared in advance
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese Melted over the filling
  • 1 cup Au jus For dipping
  • to taste Salt For seasoning
  • to taste Pepper For seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For brushing on top buns

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  • Layer roast beef, caramelized onions, and Swiss cheese on the bottom buns.
  • Place the top halves of the buns over the filling.
  • Brush tops with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Baking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the buns are toasted.

Serving

  • Serve warm with au jus for dipping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until heated through.
