Ingredients
  

Pastry Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry Make sure it's cold when working with it.
  • 1 egg egg (for egg wash) Brush thoroughly for a nice shine.

Filling Ingredients

  • 200 g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes Adjust based on spice preference.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
  • In a bowl, mix the crumbled feta cheese, honey, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
  • Place a small amount of the feta mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  • Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and seal the edges.
  • Brush the tops with egg wash.

Baking

  • Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm. Pair with marinara sauce or a yogurt dip. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven for crispiness.
