Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 servings fresh ramen noodles
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 stalks green onions, sliced
  • to taste Cilantro (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients on your countertop for an organized cooking process.

Cooking

  • In a large pan over medium heat, add oil and cook seasoned chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and let rest.
  • In the same pan, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add chicken broth and soy sauce; scrape any browned bits from the pan.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer and add ramen noodles; cook according to package instructions (usually 4-5 minutes) until tender.
  • Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream and red pepper flakes for added spice.
  • Slice rested chicken into strips and serve over creamy noodles. Garnish with green onions and cilantro if desired.

Notes

For extra creaminess, you can add more heavy cream, but be cautious with the amount of red pepper flakes to maintain balance. If you like your ramen spicier, consider adding sliced fresh chili peppers to the mix. Experiment with different vegetables, like bok choy or spinach, to add more nutrients and flavors. If you have leftovers, allow the ramen to cool completely and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
