Smoothie Ingredients

  • 1 banana 1 banana
  • 1 cup 1 cup spinach Can be replaced with any leafy greens like kale.
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup Greek yogurt For a creamier texture, add more Greek yogurt.
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon flaxseed
  • 1 cup 1 cup almond milk Can substitute with coconut milk or other types of milk.
  • 1 cup 1 cup mixed berries Use frozen for a thicker smoothie.
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional) Add to taste for sweetness.

Preparation

  • In a blender, combine the banana, spinach, Greek yogurt, flaxseed, almond milk, and mixed berries.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Taste and add honey or maple syrup if desired.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Notes

You can serve the smoothies in a tall glass or bowl. Add fresh berries or a sprinkle of flaxseed on top for extra flavor and presentation. Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
