  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs can be used for extra crunch.
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs Beaten.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Cooking spray or oil for baking

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Set up a breading station: in one bowl, mix flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika; in a second bowl, beat the eggs; in a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  • Dredge each chicken strip in the flour, dip in the eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Place the breaded chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Spray the tenders lightly with cooking spray or drizzle with oil.

Cooking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Serving

  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce such as ranch, honey mustard, or barbecue sauce.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider double breading the chicken strips. You can also change the flavor profile by adding different spices to the breadcrumb mix, like Italian seasoning or lemon zest. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
