Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, zucchini, broccoli, carrots) Feel free to use any vegetables you have on hand.

Cooking Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional) Can be omitted for a soy-free version.
  • 1 teaspoon secret ingredient (e.g., balsamic vinegar or lemon juice) Adds a special flavor.

Instructions

Cooking

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Sauté the vegetables, stirring occasionally, for about 10-15 minutes or until just tender.
  • Add the secret ingredient (balsamic vinegar or lemon juice) and soy sauce, if using.
  • Stir well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

If you have leftovers, let the vegetables cool and store them in an airtight container. They will keep in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days or can be frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in a skillet for the best texture. Don't overcrowd the skillet while cooking and consider adding chili flakes for some heat.
