Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined (16/20 count)
  • 4 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced finely
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Ginger, grated or finely minced
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 3 tablespoons Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Cold Water (for slurry)
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Pat shrimp dry with paper towels
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat
  • Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant (1-2 minutes)
  • Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink (2-3 minutes per side)
  • Transfer shrimp to a bowl but keep the browned bits in the pan
  • In a small bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, pepper flakes (if using), and cold water-slurry cornstarch
  • Pour the honey mixture into the skillet with browned bits, scraping the pan (deglaze)
  • Return shrimp to the pan, toss to coat evenly
  • Simmer until sauce thickens (1-2 minutes)
  • Serve immediately with green onions

Notes

Ensure shrimp are completely dry for optimal sear
Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes
Use tamari for gluten-free or coconut aminos for soy-free version
Storage: Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days
