For the Crostini Base

baguette
1 baguette, sliced diagonally

1 tbsp olive oil
For brushing the baguette slices.

For the Topping

4 oz goat cheese, softened
Allow to reach room temperature for easy spreading.

2 tbsp honey (hot or regular)
Can use hot honey for a spicy kick.

Instructions
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice the baguette diagonally and brush each slice with olive oil.
Toast the slices in the oven for 8–10 minutes until golden brown.
Whip the goat cheese until smooth in a small bowl.
Spread a generous amount of goat cheese on each toasted slice.
Sprinkle with thyme leaves and drizzle with honey.
Serve immediately, warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Try adding fruit like figs or peaches for a sweet twist. This dish pairs well with sparkling wine or Sauvignon Blanc.
