Ingredients
  

For the Crostini Base

  • 1 baguette 1 baguette, sliced diagonally
  • 1 tbsp 1 tbsp olive oil For brushing the baguette slices.
  • 1 pinch Pinch of salt

For the Topping

  • 4 oz 4 oz goat cheese, softened Allow to reach room temperature for easy spreading.
  • 2 tbsp 2 tbsp honey (hot or regular) Can use hot honey for a spicy kick.
  • 2 tbsp 2 tbsp thyme leaves

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the baguette diagonally and brush each slice with olive oil.
  • Toast the slices in the oven for 8–10 minutes until golden brown.
  • Whip the goat cheese until smooth in a small bowl.
  • Spread a generous amount of goat cheese on each toasted slice.
  • Sprinkle with thyme leaves and drizzle with honey.
  • Serve immediately, warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Try adding fruit like figs or peaches for a sweet twist. This dish pairs well with sparkling wine or Sauvignon Blanc.
