Ingredients
  

  • Graham cracker crumbs, 1 1/2 cups
  • Granulated sugar (for crust), 3 tablespoons
  • Melted butter, 5 tablespoons
  • Cream cheese, 8 ounces
  • Granulated sugar (for filling), 1/4 cup
  • Whipped topping, 1 cup (for filling) + 8 ounces (as topping)
  • Bananas, 2, sliced
  • Crushed pineapple, 1 20-ounce can, very well drained
  • Chocolate sauce, 1/2 cup
  • Strawberry sauce, 1/2 cup
  • Chopped peanuts, 1/2 cup
  • Maraschino cherries, 10

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  • Mix crumb mixture: Combine graham cracker crumbs, 3 Tbsp sugar, and melted butter until moistened
  • Press mixture into a 9-inch pie crust and bake for 10 minutes
  • Cool crust completely
  • Beat cream cheese and remaining 1/4 cup sugar until smooth
  • Fold in 1 cup whipped topping until fully incorporated
  • Spread half the cream cheese mixture into the cooled crust
  • Arrange banana slices in a circle
  • Top with drained pineapple
  • Spread remaining cream cheese mixture over pineapple
  • Chill for 3 hours to set
  • Before serving, top with whipped topping, chocolate and strawberry sauces, chopped peanuts, and cherries

Notes

Use firm, ripe bananas to avoid browning
Press pineapple in cheesecloth to remove excess juice
For deeper flavor, use light brown sugar in the crust
Store refrigerated for up to 24 hours
Vegetarian: no meat or animal products beyond dairy
Vegan alternative: substitute cream cheese and dairy milk with coconut cream and vegan whipped topping
