Main Ingredients

  • 1 package 14.3 oz Oreos, crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 packages 3.9 oz each instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 container 12 oz whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 bag candy-coated chocolate eggs
  • as needed gummy worms (optional, for decoration) Optional for decoration

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by crushing the Oreos into fine crumbs and set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix the softened butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over half of the crushed Oreos in a large casserole dish.
  • In another bowl, combine the chocolate pudding mix and cold milk. Whisk until it thickens.
  • Carefully spread the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  • Top with the remaining crushed Oreos, covering the pudding layer completely.
  • Finally, add the candy-coated chocolate eggs on top. You can also decorate with gummy worms for an extra fun look.

Notes

Make sure your cream cheese is soft to blend smoothly with the other ingredients. For a thicker pudding layer, let the pudding sit for a few minutes after mixing before spreading it on the cake. Consider using different candies for decoration to match your theme or preference.
