  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped Use fresh dill for the best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil for cooking

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, feta cheese, dill, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Cooking

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of olive oil.
  • Form the mixture into meatballs and place them in the skillet.
  • Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through.

Serving

  • Serve warm as desired: in a grain bowl, atop a Greek salad, or with orzo and dill yogurt sauce.

Notes

To store leftover meatballs, place them in an airtight container and refrigerate for about 3-4 days. They can also be frozen for longer storage. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before reheating.
