  • 1/4 cup Sugar Adjust to taste

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, strawberry puree, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  • Wet the edges with water and fold over to seal, pressing to remove air.

Frying

  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet.
  • Fry the stuffed wontons until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serving

  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. To reheat, place in the oven for a few minutes to regain crispiness. Ensure wontons are sealed well to prevent leaking during frying. Experiment with different fruit purees for variations.
