  • 1/2 cup rolled oats Make sure they are gluten-free if necessary.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Maple syrup for a vegan option.
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt Enhances the chocolate flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate chips until smooth.
  • In a large bowl, combine the mixed nuts, rolled oats, sea salt, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.

Baking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until set.
  • Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes
