Ingredients
  

Burger Components

  • 1 piece croissant Use fresh croissants for the best flavor and texture.
  • 1 piece beef patty Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 1 slice Cheddar cheese Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese.

Toppings

  • 1 leaf Lettuce
  • 1 slice Tomato
  • 1 slice Onion Grill the onions for added flavor.
  • 2 slices Pickles

Condiments

  • 1 tablespoon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Ketchup

Seasoning

  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Slice the croissant in half horizontally and set aside.
  • Season the beef patty with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Cook the beef patty on the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your liking.
  • In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty to melt.
  • Toast the croissant halves in the skillet until golden.

Assembly

  • Place the cooked patty on the bottom half of the croissant.
  • Top with lettuce, slices of tomato, onion, and pickles.
  • Spread mustard and ketchup on the top half of the croissant, then place it on top of the assembled burger.

Notes

You can serve the burger as is or with a side of fries or salad. Consider adding a side of dipping sauces like ranch or garlic mayo. Store leftover components separately for up to 3 days.
