  • 1 cup broccoli florets Fresh or frozen can be used.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Regular or low-sodium.
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce Optional for extra heat.
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Balances the flavors.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch For thickening the sauce.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving Choose your preferred base.

Preparation

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add thin-sliced beef and cook until browned and crispy.

Cooking

  • Add bell peppers, broccoli, and garlic; stir-fry until vegetables are tender.
  • In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, chili sauce, sugar, and cornstarch.
  • Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables; cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Season with salt and pepper.

Serving

  • Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles. Optionally, sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped green onions.

Notes

Cool leftovers completely before placing in an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat when ready to serve.
