  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons peri peri sauce Adjust for desired spice level.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with coconut milk for a lighter version.
  • 2 cups cooked rice Use fluffy cooked rice for best results.

Vegetables & Aromatics

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For sautéing.
  • 1 medium onion, chopped For flavor base.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Add depth to the dish.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish Optional, for serving.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Chicken

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  • Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned and cooked through.
  • Stir in the peri peri sauce and heavy cream, and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Serve over cooked rice and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat before serving.
