  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Adds brightness to the dish.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Chopped parsley Optional, for a fresh touch.

Preparation

  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add rice and stir to coat in the butter.
  • Pour in broth and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 18 minutes or until rice is tender.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, mixing well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Rinse rice before cooking to remove excess starch. For added variety, you can include vegetables like peas or spinach, or substitute different cheeses.
