Ingredients
  

Pasta and Shrimp

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh shrimp for best flavor.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adjust based on garlic preference.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can substitute with Pecorino Romano.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to taste Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Cooking Pasta

  • Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer.
  • Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  • Toss the cooked fettuccine in the Alfredo sauce until well coated.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

To store leftovers, let the dish cool completely. Place it in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave, adding a splash of cream or milk if the sauce has thickened.
