  • 1 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated cheese (cheddar or Swiss) Substitute for Gouda or mozzarella for different flavors
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix Dijon mustard, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a greased baking dish and pour the mustard mixture over them.
  • Sprinkle grated cheese on top, followed by breadcrumbs.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the breadcrumbs.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden on top.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with a side salad, steamed vegetables, or over rice/pasta. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. For variations, consider adding vegetables or using Greek yogurt in place of heavy cream for a healthier option.
