  • 1/2 cup avocado or dairy-free yogurt Substitute yogurt with sour cream for a creamier texture.
  • 1/4 cup lime juice Adjust lime juice to taste.
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Optional; can be added for desired consistency.

Preparation

  • In a blender or food processor, combine the cilantro, avocado or yogurt, lime juice, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • If the dressing is too thick, add a little water or olive oil to reach your desired consistency.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
