Ingredients
  

For the candy

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños Adjust for spice preference
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • In a saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  • Add cranberries and jalapeños to the saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until the cranberries burst.
  • Stir in the apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  • Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let cool before transferring to jars.
  • Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving to enhance flavors.

Notes

Store in an airtight jar in the refrigerator. Will last up to two weeks. Use clean utensils to maintain freshness.
