  • 1 lb fresh green beans (trimmed) Trimmed for cooking.
  • 4 cups baby potatoes (diced) Diced for even cooking.
  • 1 onion (diced) Diced for sautéing.
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced) Minced for flavor.

Meat

  • 6 slices bacon (chopped) Chopped for cooking.

Seasoning and Liquids

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix For seasoning.
  • 1 cup chicken broth For moisture.
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp dried rosemary

Instructions
 

Cooking the Bacon

  • Cook chopped bacon in a skillet until crispy. Once cooked, set aside and reserve the drippings.

Sautéing the Vegetables

  • In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion in the bacon drippings. After a minute, add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Cooking the Potatoes and Beans

  • Add the diced potatoes to the skillet and brown them for about 5–7 minutes.
  • Mix in the green beans, ranch seasoning, thyme, rosemary, and chicken broth.

Simmering

  • Cover the skillet and let it simmer for 15–20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.

Final Touches

  • Stir in the crispy bacon, season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3–4 days. Can be reheated in the microwave or stove. Variations can include other vegetables like carrots or corn.
