  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder You can substitute with chocolate protein powder.
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup Experiment with different sweeteners.
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon Optional for added flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon milk Add if needed for blending.
  • 1 tablespoon dark chocolate shavings Optional, for garnish.

Preparation

  • Blend the cottage cheese, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a blender until smooth and creamy.
  • If the mixture is too thick, add one tablespoon of milk and blend again until it reaches desired consistency.
  • Transfer the mousse to serving bowls or glasses. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow it to set.

Serving

  • Serve the mousse directly from the refrigerator in individual bowls.
  • Garnish with dark chocolate shavings, fresh berries, or a drizzle of additional honey if desired.

Notes

Store any leftover mousse in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days, but it's best enjoyed within the first two days.
