  • 1 piece chicken breast, cooked and breaded Ensure it is cooked thoroughly.
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce You can substitute with Alfredo or pesto.
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Add more for extra gooeyness if desired.
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust according to taste.
  • Fresh basil for garnish Optional for a burst of flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, combine the blended cottage cheese with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Assembly

  • In a baking dish, layer the cooked chicken breast.
  • Pour marinara sauce over the chicken, then top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  • Serve the chicken parm in a bowl, topped with fluffy cottage cheese, and garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until heated through. You can prepare the layers ahead and bake when ready to eat.
