  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup coconut milk For creamier texture, use full-fat coconut milk.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.

Optional Toppings

  • shredded coconut
  • fresh fruit Berries or banana slices recommended.
  • nuts Adds extra flavor and texture.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine rolled oats, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup.
  • Stir until well mixed.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Serving

  • In the morning, stir again and add optional toppings before serving.
  • Serve in a bowl or cup and enjoy it cold, or warm slightly if preferred.

Notes

To store, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days. Add toppings just before serving.
