Ingredients
  

Pasta and Chicken Base

  • 8 oz pasta Any type of pasta can be used.
  • 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded Rotisserie chicken can be used for extra flavor.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup This gives a creamy texture.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Add more for desired consistency.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tsp onion powder Adjust to taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Vegetables and Cheese

  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots Can substitute with other vegetables like corn or green beans.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For a rich flavor.
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional) Adds color and flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large pot, combine the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over medium heat.
  • Stir in the cooked chicken and frozen peas and carrots, cooking until heated through.
  • Add the cooked pasta and cheddar cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and everything is combined.

Serving

  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

To store leftovers, let the pasta cool completely, transfer to an airtight container, and refrigerate for about 3 to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove, adding a splash of chicken broth if needed.
