  • 1 cup milk At room temperature
  • 2 large eggs At room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar mixed with 1 tablespoon cinnamon for topping

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, combine the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the topping. Sprinkle it evenly over the batter.

Baking

  • Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.

Notes

Ensure your ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing. Don't overmix the batter; mix just until combined to keep the bread light and fluffy. You can add chopped nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor variations. Check the bread a few minutes before the suggested baking time to prevent overbaking.
