Ingredients
  

For the Kofta

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 unit onion, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (for grilling)

For the Garlic Yogurt Sauce

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced for yogurt sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, grated onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Shape the mixture into long oval kofta.

Cooking

  • Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Cook the kofta for 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and browned.

Make the Sauce

  • In a separate bowl, mix yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt to create the garlic yogurt sauce.

Serving

  • Serve the kofta warm with the creamy garlic yogurt sauce on the side.

Notes

Make sure to mix the ingredients well to ensure the kofta stays together while cooking. If you prefer a spicier flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder to the kofta mixture. Soaking wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling helps prevent burning if you choose to skewer the kofta.
