Ingredients
  

Pasta and Sauce Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Use freshly grated for best flavor
  • for garnish Fresh parsley

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cooking the Chicken

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  • Cook until golden and no longer pink in the center, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  • Remove from the skillet and slice into strips.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

Combining the Ingredients

  • Add the cooked fettuccine and sliced chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of cream to keep it creamy. For a thicker sauce, simmer longer. You can add vegetables like broccoli or spinach for extra nutrition.
