Ingredients
  

Tea Ingredients

  • 2 tea bags Earl Grey tea or 2 teaspoons loose leaf (about 4 g)
  • 2 cups Water (480 ml)

Flavoring Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Cherry syrup or cherry preserves (30 ml)
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract (2.5 ml)

Optional Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Milk or cream (60 ml, optional)
  • 1-2 teaspoons Sweetener of choice (5-10 g, honey or sugar, optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Bring the water to a gentle boil at 212°F (100°C).
  • Place the Earl Grey tea in a teapot or heat-safe mug and pour the hot water over it.
  • Steep for 3–5 minutes, then remove the tea bags or strain the loose tea.
  • Stir in the cherry syrup and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  • Add milk or cream if using, and warm gently over low heat for 1–2 minutes without boiling.
  • Sweeten to taste, stir well, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm in a nice mug or cup. Add fresh cherries as a garnish. Pairs wonderfully with light snacks like cookies or scones. Use high-quality Earl Grey tea for the best flavor and adjust cherry syrup according to taste.
