  • 4 medium Potatoes Pick small to medium potatoes for even cooking.
  • 12 oz Smoked sausage Sliced.
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning Adjust based on taste preference.
  • 1 cup Sour cream Adds creaminess.
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese Shredded, for topping.
  • 2 tbsp Green onions Chopped, for garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Wash and cube the potatoes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the potatoes, sliced smoked sausage, ranch seasoning, sour cream, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  • Top with shredded cheddar cheese.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. You can easily reheat them in the oven or microwave. For extra flavor, try adding garlic powder or paprika before baking. You can also switch out the smoked sausage for chicken, turkey sausage, or vegetarian sausage.
