  • 1.5 cups shredded chicken rotisserie, grilled, or baked chicken
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced for creamy texture and healthy fats
  • 0.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese melts perfectly for gooey goodness
  • 0.25 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese adds extra creaminess
  • 0.25 cups fresh cilantro, chopped for a burst of flavor
  • 0.25 cups diced tomatoes adds freshness and color
  • 0.25 cups red onion, finely chopped adds crunch and a mild bite
  • 0.25 cups sour cream or Greek yogurt for a healthier alternative
  • 2 tbsp chipotle sauce adds smoky heat – adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for sautéing the chicken
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika for smoky depth of flavor
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder enhances the overall taste
  • 0.5 tsp cumin for warmth and richness
  • 0.5 tsp salt to bring out all the flavors
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper for a hint of spice
  • 1 tbsp butter for grilling the wrap to golden perfection

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, chipotle sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the chicken is evenly coated.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, then add the seasoned chicken. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until warm and fragrant.

Assembly

  • Lay the tortillas on a clean surface. Spread sour cream evenly over each tortilla.
  • Sprinkle cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese on top. Add the warm chicken in the center, then top it with diced avocado, tomatoes, red onion, and fresh cilantro.

Rolling & Grilling

  • Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll it tightly into a wrap.
  • Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Melt butter and place the wraps seam-side down. Grill for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

Serving

  • Remove from heat, cut the wrap in half, and serve immediately.
  • Enjoy it with extra chipotle sauce or sour cream for dipping!

Notes

To store leftovers, wrap the cooled wraps in plastic wrap or place them in an airtight container. They can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave before serving.
