  • 4 fillets 4 salmon fillets (skin on)
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • to taste pinch Salt, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ lemon Juice of ½ lemon
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Black sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pat salmon dry and rub with olive oil. Season with Cajun seasoning and a pinch of salt.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon skin-side up for 3 minutes, then flip and cook for 2 minutes more.
  • In a separate saucepan, melt butter and stir in honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Simmer for 2 minutes, then stir in lemon juice.
  • Pour sauce over salmon in skillet. Spoon sauce over fish and cook for another 3–5 minutes until done.

Serving

  • Garnish with parsley, sesame seeds, and lemon wedges. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in olive oil and Cajun seasoning for 30 minutes before cooking. If you have leftovers, let salmon cool completely and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat to keep fish moist.
