  • 8-10 leaves Lettuce leaves (e.g., romaine or iceberg) These will be the wraps.
  • 1 medium Tomato (sliced) Add fresh tomato slices for crunch.
  • 1 medium Onion (sliced) Use red or white onion based on preference.
  • to taste Pickles (optional) Adds a nice tang.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • to taste Your favorite condiments (e.g., mustard, ketchup) Customize to your taste.

Cooking the Meat

  • In a pan over medium heat, cook the ground turkey or chicken until fully cooked; season with salt and pepper.

Preparing the Wraps

  • Wash and separate the lettuce leaves; these will be the ‘wraps’.

Assembling the Wraps

  • Once the meat is cooked, assemble your wraps by placing the meat in the center of a lettuce leaf.
  • Add sliced tomatoes, onions, and pickles if desired.
  • Top with your favorite condiments, wrap it up, and enjoy!

Notes

Serve on a plate with extra condiments on the side. Pair with a side salad or fresh veggies for a light meal. For extra flavor, add garlic powder or onion powder to the meat while cooking. Try different types of lettuce for variety or add avocado and cheese for a creamier texture.
