  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (16 oz)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 0.5 cup cooked Italian sausage (optional) Can be omitted for a meat-free option.
  • 0.25 cup diced green bell peppers Feel free to customize with other vegetables.
  • 0.25 cup diced onions
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or non-stick spray For greasing the baking dish.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or basil (optional garnish)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with olive oil or non-stick spray.
  • Cut each biscuit into four equal pieces and place in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add pizza sauce, half of the mozzarella cheese, mini pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, and onions. Stir until biscuits are coated.
  • Spread the mixture evenly into the greased baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and extra pepperoni on top.

Cooking

  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until the biscuits are puffed and cooked through, and the cheese is melted and golden.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize the toppings. For extra flavor, mix Italian seasoning into the pizza sauce. Ensure biscuits are golden brown to avoid overbaking. Can be made as a breakfast casserole with eggs and cheese.
