Ingredients
  

Pasta and Base Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Bowtie pasta Cooked al dente.
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Halved.
  • 1/2 cup Red onion Diced.
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Cubed or diced.

Dressing and Seasoning

  • 1/4 cup Olive oil Extra virgin recommended.
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar Adjust based on taste.
  • to taste Salt For seasoning.
  • to taste Pepper For seasoning.

Garnish

  • 1/4 cup Basil Fresh, chopped.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine cherry tomatoes, diced red onion, and mozzarella cheese.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the bowl and mix well.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Toss everything together until well combined.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Drizzle with extra olive oil or balsamic vinegar if the salad begins to dry out. Cook pasta al dente for better texture and feel free to add other veggies like bell peppers or cucumbers.
