Cookie Dough Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

For Rolling

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, cream together the brown sugar and butter until smooth.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until well combined.
  • Roll the dough into balls and then roll in granulated sugar.
  • Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

These cookies can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature, and are great with a glass of milk or hot beverage. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week.
