  • 6 large large jalapeños Choose firm jalapeños for the best texture.
  • 8 oz brie cheese, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional) For added crunch.
  • Olive oil (for drizzling)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the brie cheese, blueberries, and honey. Mix well.
  • Fill each jalapeño half with the blueberry brie mixture.
  • If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of each stuffed jalapeño for added crunch.

Baking

  • Place the filled jalapeños on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until the jalapeños are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through. For a milder taste, remove all the seeds and membranes from the jalapeños. Experiment with different cheeses, like goat cheese or cream cheese, for unique flavors.
