  • 6 pieces fresh jalapeños, halved & seeded Use firm jalapeños for best texture.
  • 6 oz brie cheese, cut into chunks Choose well-ripened brie for creaminess.
  • 12 slices deli ham, prosciutto, or bacon Any of these can be used for a crispy topping.
  • 1/3 cup blueberry preserves Can substitute with other flavors like raspberry.

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 pinch black pepper or flaky salt For added flavor if desired.

Preparation

  • Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the jalapeños in half and remove the seeds and membranes to reduce heat.
  • Place a chunk of brie cheese in each jalapeño half.
  • Cover each jalapeño with ham, prosciutto, or bacon.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bacon is crispy.
  • Spoon warm blueberry preserves on top of each popper.
  • Add a pinch of black pepper or flaky salt if desired, and serve hot!

Notes

These poppers pair well with iced tea or your favorite drink, making them great for gatherings. For leftovers, cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They can last for up to three days.
