  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Adjust based on sweetness preference

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to create the glaze.
  • Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a griddle over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Pour the bourbon glaze over the chicken and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles. Storing leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat before serving.
