Ingredients
  

For the Bavarian Cream

  • 2 cups heavy cream Make sure it's cold for easier whipping.
  • 3/4 cup sugar Adjust based on the sweetness of the berries.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Feel free to experiment with different flavored extracts.
  • 2 teaspoons gelatin Dissolve fully for a smooth texture.
  • 3 tablespoons water Used to soften the gelatin.

For the Topping

  • 1 cup mixed berries A selection of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
  • Mint leaves For garnish, optional.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the water and let it sit for about 5 minutes to soften.
  • In a saucepan, heat 1 cup of the heavy cream with the sugar and vanilla extract over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the softened gelatin until fully dissolved.
  • In a mixing bowl, whip the remaining heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold the whipped cream into the gelatin mixture gently until combined.
  • Pour the mixture into serving glasses or dessert molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

Serving

  • Once set, top with mixed berries and garnish with mint leaves if desired.
  • Serve chilled in individual dessert glasses for an elegant presentation.

Notes

Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, covered with plastic wrap or in an airtight container. Avoid freezing as the cream may change texture when thawed.
