Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey lean protein
  • 1 cup jasmine rice fluffy base
  • 2 cups water for cooking rice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for sautéing
  • 1 cup broccoli florets fresh and crisp
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 3 green onions chopped
  • 1 tsp minced garlic for flavor
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Bang Bang Sauce Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise for Bang Bang sauce
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce for sweetness
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce for spice
  • 1 tbsp honey balances heat
  • 1 tbsp lime juice for acidity

Instructions

Cooking Rice

  • In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 cup jasmine rice, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-18 minutes until fluffy and water is absorbed.

Making Bang Bang Sauce

  • In a small bowl, combine 1/3 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce, 1 tablespoon sriracha, 1 tablespoon honey, and 1 tablespoon lime juice. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Cooking Turkey and Vegetables

  • Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 teaspoon minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant and sizzling.
  • Stir in 1 pound ground turkey, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 6-8 minutes, breaking it apart, until no longer pink and beautifully browned.
  • Add 1 cup broccoli florets and 1 sliced red bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes until veggies are tender yet crisp and vibrant.
  • Toss in the cooked jasmine rice, mixing well with the turkey and veggies. Pour the Bang Bang sauce over and stir until everything is well coated and heated through.

Serving

  • Spoon the delicious mixture into bowls and garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds for a pop of color.

Notes

Feel free to swap out the vegetables based on what you have on hand. Adjust the spiciness of the Bang Bang sauce by adding more or less sriracha to suit your taste. For added crunch, consider topping your bowls with crushed peanuts or crispy fried onions.
