  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 package instant banana pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sliced bananas Fresh bananas recommended

Optional Toppings

  • to taste whipped cream Optional for topping

Preparation

  • In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  • Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the banana pudding mix, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Gradually add the Rice Krispies cereal and mix until evenly coated.
  • Fold in the sliced bananas carefully.
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and press the mixture into the dish evenly.
  • Allow to cool and set for about 30 minutes.
  • Cut into squares and serve with optional whipped cream on top.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days. Avoid refrigerating to keep them crunchy. Tips: Gently fold in bananas, and consider toasting Rice Krispies for added flavor.
