Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 1 cup goat cheese
  • 1 cup tart cranberries (fresh or dried)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

For the pears

  • 4 ripe pears Choose ripe but firm pears.
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Halve the pears and scoop out the core.

Stuffing

  • In a bowl, mix the goat cheese, cranberries, honey, and cinnamon.
  • Stuff the pear halves with the cheese mixture.
  • Place the stuffed pears in a baking dish.
  • Drizzle with additional honey if desired.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the pears are tender and golden.

Serving

  • Serve warm, optionally topped with chopped walnuts.

Notes
