Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into strips.
  • Thinly slice the apples and soak them in a mixture of water and lemon juice.

Assembly

  • Arrange the apple slices along the edge of each strip of puff pastry, overlapping them slightly.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the apples.
  • Fold the puff pastry over the apples to form a rose shape.
  • Roll up each strip starting from one end to create the rose.

Baking

  • Place the apple rose pastries in a muffin tin and brush with melted butter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool briefly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.

Notes
