  • 2 pieces Croissants
  • 1 medium Apple, thinly sliced Choose a sweet variety like Honeycrisp or Fuji.
  • 4 oz Goat Cheese, softened Fresh goat cheese is recommended for creaminess.
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • Fresh Arugula (optional) Add for extra flavor if desired.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the croissants in half horizontally.
  • In a small bowl, mix the goat cheese, honey, and cinnamon until well combined.
  • Spread the goat cheese mixture on the bottom half of each croissant.
  • Layer the apple slices on top of the goat cheese.
  • Add fresh arugula if desired.
  • Top with the other half of the croissant.
  • Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and warm in the oven for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

These sandwiches are best served warm right out of the oven. They pair well with a fresh fruit salad or a cup of coffee or tea. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
