  • 4 pieces ripe peaches, halved and pits removed Choose ripe but firm peaches for the best texture.
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter Can substitute with coconut oil or a dairy-free option.
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar Adjust based on your sweetness preference.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Add extra for enhanced flavor if desired.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract This enhances the overall flavor of the peaches.
  • to taste none Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving Optional, but highly recommended.

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth.
  • Brush the cut sides of the peach halves with the butter mixture.

Cooking

  • Arrange the peaches cut side up in a single layer in the air fryer basket, cooking in batches if necessary.
  • Air fry the peaches for 8-12 minutes, checking at the 8-minute mark for softness and caramelization.
  • Carefully remove the peaches with tongs or a spatula when done.

Serving

  • Serve warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store cooled peaches in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a couple of minutes.
