Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder Make sure the baking powder is fresh.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Flavorings

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can substitute with other cheeses.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Can use garlic powder instead.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley Optional, for garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Stir in the milk and melted butter until a soft dough forms.
  • Fold in the grated Parmesan and minced garlic.
  • Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for a minute.
  • Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape them into rolls.

Baking

  • Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  • Optionally, sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

These rolls are best served warm, with butter. Pairs well with soups, salads, and as a side for main dishes. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or freeze them for longer storage. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
