  • 2 pieces chicken thighs or breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  • Trim excess fat from the chicken and pat dry with paper towels.
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss the chicken to coat evenly.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F for 2–3 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 7–8 minutes per side, flipping halfway through, until the internal temp reaches 165°F.
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing to retain juices.

Serving

  • Serve immediately or store for meal prep.

Notes

Make sure to pat the chicken dry before seasoning to help the spices stick better. Adjust the seasoning to your taste. If you like it spicy, add a pinch of cayenne pepper. Always check the chicken's internal temperature with a meat thermometer to ensure it’s cooked properly.
